THE X Factor 2017 is well underway and the final will come around before you know it.
So when is the big finale where the winner is crowned and where can you get your ticket? Here’s all the details…
When does The X Factor series finish?
The X Factor usually finishes a fortnight – or less – before or Christmas Day to ensure the winner has a good chance of bagging Christmas Number One.
However, this year one of Simon’s “big” changes has seen the final moved way forward to Saturday, December 2, meaning it’ll be barely even festive.
Whether or not the winner’s single will be remotely Christmassy, then, is also up for debate.
Where will The X Factor final be held?
In past years the final held at London’s Wembley Arena, away from the usual smaller studio venue.
But no finale venue has been confirmed for the 2017 as yet.
Where can I get tickets for The X Factor final?
You must be 16 or over to get tickets for The X Factor final – but they are free of charge if you manage to nab one.
The tickets for the show for Saturday, December 2 will come available at Applause Store here.
All you need to do is register and you will be notified by email when the tickets go on sale (make sure you check your spam and junk folders).
Tickets are then allocated at random and you’re allowed a maximum of two tickets per person.
Usually successful ticket applicants are informed whether they’ve got lucky around 48 hours before the show kicks off in the evening on the Saturday.
Who won The X Factor last year?
The 2016 winner was Matt Terry, who managed to beat his Finnish rival Saara Aalto.
He then released Ed Sheeran’s Christmas ballad When Christmas Comes Around, which only peaked at number three in the charts.
He was mentored on the show by Nicole Scherzinger, who this year has said she doesn’t think the winner is in her category.
