COPPER kitchen accessories are still on trend, but you don’t need to fork out a fortune to stay in style.
Lidl is selling a copper frying pan – and it’s a staggering £62 cheaper than the John Lewis version.
The budget-friendly supermarket is launching a 24cm pan as part of its Ernesto kitchen range on November 9, 2017.
It is described as being “highly energy efficient with an extra durable three-layer construction for optimal results”, and has a stainless steel handle.
It appears to be a dupe of the John Lewis Croft Collection frying pan that is priced at £85.
The department store’s product is 4cm bigger than the Lidl version, and has an “aluminium core” that evenly distributes the heat.
The Lidl pan is available in stores only, and is expected to sell out quickly.
The food retailer is also set to launch a 16cm copper saucepan for £22.99 as part of the sleek line.
But this isn’t the first product to excite shoppers.
Lidl is launching a 21 day côte de boeuf steak – and it’s £15 cheaper than Waitrose.
And, the supermarket is launching the first ever two-year matured Christmas pudding.
