ARSENAL flop Yaya Sanogo can become “one of the best attackers of his generation”, according to Toulouse boss Pascal Dupraz.
New Toulouse striker Sanogo scored precisely zero goals in just 11 Premier League games spanning four seasons for Arsene Wenger‘s side.
Sanogo – best remembered for his four-goal haul against Benfica in the 2014 Emirates Cup – was shipped off on loan three times before joining the Ligue 1 side permanently this summer.
However, Dupraz has bizarrely suggesting he can AGAIN become of one the best players of the current era.
Dupraz said: “I am sure that Yaya Sanogo will become the player he was again.
“His body permitting, he is an excellent player.
“The president, Sadran, did a good job having the balls to bring him here because I am sure that he will become the player he once was again…
“One of the best attackers of his generation.”
Eight-cap France Under-21s international Sanogo, now 24, joined Arsenal from Auxerre in 2013.
After making just eight league appearances in his debut season, failing to score once, he made just three in 2014-15 before he was sent off to Crystal Palace.

Sanogo never played in the Premier League again, being sent on loan to Ajax and then Charlton in the 2015-16 season.
The Frenchman joined Toulouse in the summer on a free… and has as yet failed to score in his two appearances for the Ligue 1 club.
Dupraz’s side currently sit tenth in the French top flight, with just 11 goals scored in their first ten games.
