Police death probe as man’s body dragged from lake at a popular park

A MAN has been dragged from a lake at a popular beauty spot.

Police have now launched an investigation following the grisly discovery yesterday at around 4.15pm.

A man’s body was pulled from a lake in Lewsey Park, Luton

They said the man, who was aged in his 30s or 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene in Lewsey Park in Luton, Beds.

His death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.

He was described as white and was wearing dark clothing when his body was found.

Detective Inspector Jackie Dadd, from Bedfordshire Police said: “This appears to be a tragic incident but we’re keen to trace any relatives or friends of the man involved.”
