A WOMAN has been left with serious head injuries after being hit by a milk float in the early hours of this morning.
The 43-year-old woman had been walking around Haverhill, Suffolk when she was hit about 3.30am on Saturday.
The milk float involved was reportedly a Ford Transit.
Suffolk Police said the victim was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.
The driver of the milk float was not hurt.
The road has been closed while investigations are carried out and anyone with information is asked to call 101.
