WHAT can’t you miss on TV tonight? Our guide to the must-see shows…
NEW! Feral Families, 9pm, Channel 4
More and more British people are deciding that kids should be brought up with no school, no lessons and no rules.
This documentary follows three families who are passionate that their method of parenting will mean healthier and happier children.
We meet mum-of-three Jenna, who doesn’t tell off her sons; Vicky and Mike, who have taken their daughter Jessica out of school; and Gemma and Lewis (above), who have seven kids running riot in their house.
You can judge the results for yourself, but you may be surprised at how resourceful the children are and what they can build and create.
You can’t help worrying that some of the parents are unwilling to consider how their decisions might affect their kids in the future, though, particularly as one of the teenagers struggles to read and write.
LAST IN SERIES! Gordon Ramsay on Cocaine, 9pm, ITV
In Colombia, Gordon (left) comes under fire when visiting a coca plantation, so it’s a relief when he returns to the UK, where he meets a dealer carrying £140,000 worth of cocaine, and a mum of two who lost everything to addiction.
While you’ll want him to stop swearing at everything he’s told, you can’t deny his sincere desire to highlight the harm the drug does.
NEW! Fighting Cancer: My Online Diary, 10.50pm, c4
Three cancer patients – Emily (above), 22, Charlotte, 17, and 34-year-old Chris – film their battle against cancer to make video blogs.
This documentary follows their stories, and it’s intense and heartbreaking.
However, the patients’ refusal to be daunted by their situation and their ability to find comfort in helping others makes for uplifting viewing.
NEW! Bargain-Loving Brits in Blackpool, 8pm, Channel 5
Known as the ‘Las Vegas of the north’, Blackpool has entertained tourists for decades.
This bubbly documentary follows those who holiday and work there, including octogenarian sisters Agnes and Margaret (l-r) – who visit three times a year – and ice-cream seller David Prest, aka Gino Gelato.
There’s so much going on – who needs a holiday abroad?
