FIERY Stephanie Davis has let rip on a reality show babe who claimed Jeremy McConnell 'used' her by calling her the ultimate insult of "fame hungry melt".
Clearly narked by the comments, the ex Hollyoaks babe proved she's got a protective streak when it comes to defending her boyfriend who she hooked up with while in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Stephanie aimed a series of angry social media messages at the mum-of-one.
She wrote: "Can u please bore off u fame hungry melt! . It's embarrassing. Enjoy your ten pound you got. Feel sorry for you u drip."
More messages followed, telling her to "get a grip" and claiming Tara, who said she had a steamy relationship with Jeremy during the MTV show, weren't even a couple.
Tara had claimed the Mr Ireland finalist had previous form in wooing then swiftly ditching reality show babes and said: "He’s a very charming guy but this is obviously just a showmance, Stephanie needs to watch her back.
She said: "When I was on BSCO with Jeremy, there was a love triangle with me and him exactly like the one he was in with Stephanie and her boyfriend Sam.
"Jeremy used to sleep with this other girl and then afterwards he’d tell her it was only a physical thing and he was really in love with me."

Stephanie, 22, was obviously annoyed as she then vented to her followers in a more general post.
The Tweets have since been deleted from her account but said: "I'll not have anyone slag jezz of! So get of my time line if you do! We've all been through our own past ups and down. But I don't need the Negativity.
She added: "Whatever happened between us is our business. I fell in (love) with someone on TV yes & that's the way it is. Don't like it. Lump it."
The pair have been in the midst of a whirlwind romance since leaving the Channel 5 bungalow.
After being spotted shopping for wedding rings Jeremy said the 'pressures' of their high-profile romance had caused them to split.
Though the cute couple then told the ITV show Loose Women it was a 'misunderstanding'.
