Formula One babe Carmen Jorda branded ‘slow’ by jilted rival

Spanish racer is development driver for Renault

FORMULA ONE babe Carmen Jorda has been branded as slow by jilted racer Marco Sorensen.

The Danish driver lost out at Jorda after her was overlooked a role with the new Renault F1 team in favour of the Spaniard.

Sorensen, who has now left F1 to race for Aston Martin in the World Endurance Championship, says Jorda was a whopping 12 seconds slower than him in the simulator at Lotus, yet she has been retained as the team’s development driver.

But the glam driver's promotion did not go down well with rivals

He said: “She was 12 seconds slower than me in the simulator,” he told Ekstra Bladet, “but still, she ran away with all the rewards.

“For the past two years I have spent at least 60 days in the simulator, which is about the same as Kevin [Magnussen] at McLaren.

Marco Sorensen labelled her as slow in a pique of jealousy

“So I felt violated to the point that it finally became too much and I had to stop.”
