THE world's leading Apple expert has revealed his predictions for the new iPhone XS, expected to launch later this year.

Top analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reckons we'll see three new Apple smartphones, one of which will feature a staggeringly large 6.5-inch screen.

The details were revealed in a research note intended for investors, which was obtained by tech blog MacRumors.

According to Kuo, Apple will show off a new entry-level iPhone, and then two iPhone X sequels – rumoured to be called the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Plus.

The cheaper model will supposedly have a 6.1-inch screen with an LCD panel – not as impressive as the iPhone X's OLED screen, which gives you a wider range of colours and better contrast overall.
