A YOUNG girl was left with FOUR eyebrows after a permanent make-up tattoo went badly wrong.
Tyne, a careworker from Coventry, got the treatment when she was 15 – three years before the legal age of 18 – after plucking away her natural brows.
But when her natural ones started to grow back, she realised the tattoos were completely in the wrong place, leaving her with a double brow.
Speaking on Channel 4's Bodyshockers, Tyne, now 20, said: "My eyebrows are horrendous.
"I have my natural set and then tattooed eyebrows above.
"One is higher and thicker than the other, one is thicker, one is thinner.
"I am stuck with four eyebrows.
"They are the biggest mistake I have ever done in my life.
"I am willing to go through anything to get a natural look."
While Tyne was growing up, the 'skinny brow' trend was well and truly in vogue.
After having the permanent make-up tattooed on Tyne said she was initially delighted to have her brows back.
She explained: "At first I loved them, it was the answer to my prayers.
"I thought that was it, I wouldn’t have to worry ever again."
But two years later, once her natural eyebrows had fully grown back, she realised they were in completely the wrong place.
Tyne has spent the last three years caking on make-up to try to cover up her embarrassing double brow.
She admitted: "It is a nightmare.
"I spend £150 a month buying different products to cover it up, it costs a fortune."
Tyne is now having painful laser removal surgery to remove her tattooed brows.
Despite needing between five to eight sessions, she said she is willing to go through whatever is necessary to remove them.
She added: "I will be glad to see the back of my double eyebrows."
Channel 4's Bodyshockers airs on Wednesdays at 10pm.
